J. Howard Shelley

Qualifications

LLB (Hons) M.B.A

Howard Shelley chose the law as a second career after twenty six years nursing mainly spent in operating theatres. At the grand old age of 45 he left the NHS to become a solicitor specialising in litigation. Howard has experience in almost all forms of dispute resolution (formal and informal) and deals with most of the Employment and Property enquiries. Able to advise on most types of dispute, highlights of his career thus far include:

Securing damages from a top firm of solicitors arising out of professional negligence,

Assisting a widow to defend a claim against the estate of her deceased husband,

Securing a share in a property claimed by an estranges partner.

Recovering a debt of nearly £500,000 from a client’s ex husband.

When not at work Howard is a keen DIY-er. He says he plays a reasonable trumpet, is qualified to teach ballroom dancing and on Mondays and Saturdays can be found at a local roller skating club teaching artistic skating to children and adults.
