KJC Family Lawyers and Divorce Solicitor

When relationships break down there can be lots of things that will have to be sorted such as financial issues and what should happen to the children. We can help minimise the upset that you will be feeling. Many thoughts maybe come to light about who to use or where to go. Which family lawyers? Do we need a divorce solicitor? Kevin Conroy, part of the family lawyers team within KJC has been dealing with family law problems including matrimonial finance, issues regarding contact to children (by non-resident parent and/or grandparents) and domestic violence in the home for over 20 years.

We are able to offer an initial one hour interview at one half of our hourly charge rate and during this time we can give you an idea as to the likely cost and time-scale of any continued work.

Sometimes when a relationship breaks down there is the question of domestic violence. We can help you with personal protection orders and exclusion orders. We appreciate that this is an extremely stressful time, and our aim is to assist you through the process in a sympathetic and efficient manner.

In most cases there is no excuse for violence. The assaulted person often feels it is their fault which is very rarely the case. If you are being abused we can help you to apply to the court for a Non-Molestation Order, or an Occupation. One of the most frequent questions we are asked is "what happens when you get divorced?" We have prepared an outline of the procedure to assist you.

Along with offering services for a number family law issues at KJC Solicitors we also provide many others such as personal injury solicitors, motoring lawyer advice, a commercial lawyer to solve business disputes
